Cost Effi­cien­cy Sav­ing Ideas

In accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 2054.1264, each state agency that has 1,500 or more employees is required to provide employees of the agency with an opportunity to submit suggestions and ideas on how to make the agency more cost-efficient. Employees can elect to submit a suggestion or idea that includes the employee's name or they may submit an anonymous suggestion or idea. On a quarterly basis, these suggestions are required to be posted on the agency's generally accessible Internet website in a manner that will allow members of the public to monitor the submissions made and vote for the public's favorite cost-savings suggestion or idea.
