2025 Government Law and Liability Conference
Oct. 16-17
Austin, Texas
The Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) Administrative Law Division is hosting a two-day conference designed specifically for government lawyers, general counsels, executive directors, commissioners, and board members of state agencies. A distinguished panel of government leaders and lawyers, including members of the executive administration of the OAG, will offer various perspectives on the most challenging legal issues facing state agencies today. This conference is intended to provide training on legal issues involving state government, including litigation risks, and topics of particular interest to state officials.
Registration will open mid-June.
2025 Open Government Conference

Austin, Texas
The Office of the Attorney General’s Open Records Division is hosting a two-day conference. This event is designed for the public, government employees and public officials, representatives of the media, and companies doing business with Texas government. The conference addresses the needs and concerns of all governmental bodies regarding Open Government and related legislation.
Registration will open mid-August.
2026 Crime Victim Services Conference

The Office of the Attorney General’s Crime Victim Services Division is hosting a multidisciplinary conference that will offer information, instruction, and networking opportunities focused on victim services and personal resilience. This conference is specifically designed for victim advocates, criminal justice professionals, medical and mental health providers, and others working directly with victims of crime.

The Attorney General’s office may be able to provide a speaker or training presentation for your organization, event, or conference on topics such as:
