"Acts of violence against our brave law enforcement in Texas will not be tolerated. We should take all steps necessary to prosecute those who commit them to the fullest extent possible under the law. I commend the Harris County Sheriff's office and the Harris County DA's office for their swift work apprehending and charging this dangerous criminal for this heinous murder of a Texas law enforcement officer."

Attor­ney Gen­er­al Inves­ti­ga­tion Lands Cor­pus Christi Man in Jail on Three Counts of Child Pornography

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the Attorney General’s Child Exploitation Unit successfully executed a search warrant at a residence in Corpus Christi resulting in the arrest of Francisco Granillo Jaczan, 47, for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. It was the second arrest for Possession of Child Pornography this week in Corpus Christi following an investigation by the Child Exploitation Unit.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton today announced the arrest of nine suspected child predators following a joint sting operation between the Attorney General’s Child Exploitation Unit and the Copperas Cove Police Department. This effort was the Office of the Attorney General’s most successful joint operation-to-date targeting child predators.
