The Child Exploitation Unit made one noteworthy arrest last week.
In Hays County, Luis Alberto Gonzales, 18, of Kyle, was arrested on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography on May 26. This case was received as a NCMEC CyberTipline report involving the upload of child pornography to an email account. Investigators executed a warrant at his home, and they discovered several files of child pornography on his cell phone. Multiple items were seized for examination by the Digital Forensics Unit. Gonzales was transported to the Hays County Jail.

In Harris County, Gregory Bryans Myers was arrested in Houston on May 26. In 2007, Myers was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in Harris County and was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison. Myers failed to comply with mandated Sex Offender Registration requirements and a corresponding Fail to Comply as a Sex Offender warrant was by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
In Bexar County, Shaun Patrick Neuman was arrested in San Antonio on May 26. Neuman had an outstanding warrant for Sex Offense - Sexual Performance by a Child Less Than 14 Years/Employ/Direct/Promote issued by the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office. This arrest was made while working with the United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force out of San Antonio.
