CHILD EXPLOITATION UNIT 

In Harris County, Larry Savoy, Jr. was indicted on April 13 for possession of child pornography and receiving child pornography. This case was received as a NCMEC CyberTipline report involving the upload of child pornography to a cloud storage account.   

HUMAN TRAFFICKING UNIT  

In Dallas County, a male suspect was arrested for human trafficking on April 12, after Sgt. Peterson provided information concerning a minor potentially offering sex services to the Dallas Police Department. Three minor females were recovered from this investigation, and an additional suspect was also identified and has charges pending.  

FUGITIVE APPREHENSION UNIT 

In Bexar County, Paul Hengel was arrested on April 1 for violating the terms of his parole. Hengel was previously convicted of sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 10 years of probation. His probation was revoked in 2010 and he was then sentenced to 14 years in prison. 

In Bexar County, John Jacob Cardenas was arrested on April 4 for violating the terms of his parole. Cardenas was previously convicted of murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison. 

In Bexar County, Rodrigo Sandoval was arrested on April 5 for outstanding warrants for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Bexar County, James Michael Price was arrested on April 6 for failure to comply with the terms of his parole by incurring monitor violations. Price was previously convicted of assault, causing bodily injury, and sentenced to four years of probation. Last year, his probation was revoked, and he was sentenced to two years in prison.  

In Bexar County, Lucio Quintero, a confirmed Mexican Mafia gang member, was arrested on April 6 for failing to comply with the terms of his parole. Quintero was previously convicted of sexual assault/statutory rape and sentenced to eight years in prison. He is currently on parole for a 1990 conviction for possession of cocaine, where he received a 30-year prison sentence. 

In Bexar County, Matthew Perfecto Milam was arrested on April 6 for outstanding warrants for violation of his bond/protective order, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, bodily injury to a child, and intent to cause bodily injury to an elderly person. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Bexar County, Lakendrik Trevell Collins was arrested on April 7 for violating the terms of his parole. Collins was previously convicted of attempted burglary with intent to commit theft and sentenced to five years in prison.  

In Bexar County, Michael Garza, a confirmed Mexican Mafia gang member, was arrested on April 7 for violating the terms of his parole. Garza was previously convicted of attempted capital murder of a peace officer and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. 

In Bexar County, Corey Mitchell was arrested on April 12 on an outstanding warrant for fraud and money laundering issued by the Sterling County Sheriff’s Office. 

In Bexar County, Draven Rene Reyes, a confirmed 74 Hoover Crips gang member, was arrested on April 12 on outstanding warrants for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Bexar County, Juan Rodriguez was arrested on April 13 for violating the terms of his parole. Rodriguez was previously convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and sentenced to four years in prison.  

In Bexar County, Rabet Campos Alejandro was arrested on April 13 for an outstanding warrant for sexual assault. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Bexar County, Jonathan Elmore was arrested on April 13 on an outstanding warrant for probation violation and alien smuggling. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest.  

In Fort Bend County, Daniel Padilla was indicted by a Fort Bend County Grand Jury on April 4 on one count of failure to register as a sex offender, a 10-year state jail felony. Padilla was previously arrested on March 9 on an outstanding warrant for attempted sexual assault of a child, probation violation. Padilla was previously convicted of attempted sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to eight years of probation/deferred adjudication. The United States Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force assisted in his apprehension. 

In Fort Bend County, Maurice Matthews was arrested on April 5 on a federal warrant for possession of cocaine and probation violation. The United States Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Galveston County, Mark Anthony Bazan, a confirmed Rollin 60s Crip gang member, was arrested on April 1 on an outstanding warrant for assault causing bodily injury and family violence. The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, Galveston Police Department Special Operations Unit, and Galveston County Sheriff Department Organized Crime Task Force assisted with this apprehension. 

In Galveston County, Jeremy Lamont Walker was arrested on April 5 on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

In Harris County, Robert Leanard Palacios was arrested on April 5 for violating the terms of his parole by failing to report. Palacios was previously convicted of two counts of burglary of a habitation with the intent of sexual abuse and sentenced to 30 years in prison.  

In Harris County, Rodney Ray Jones was arrested on April 6 for violating the terms of his parole. Jones was previously convicted of indecency with a child and sentenced to 10 years of probation. His probation was revoked in 1995, and Jones was sentenced to eight years in prison. Jones is currently on parole for a 2007 conviction for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, for which he received a 20-year prison sentence. 

In Harris County, Amiri Benoit was arrested on April 6 on warrants for seven counts of attempted first degree murder-felony, one count aggravated criminal damage to property-felony, one count illegal use of weapons-felony, and one count of firearm in firearm free zone-misdemeanor. The United States Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force, and the Houston Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team assisted with this arrest. 

In Harris County, Mactori Doucet was arrested on April 6 on warrants for seven counts attempted first degree murder, one count aggravated criminal damage to property, one count illegal use of weapons, and one count of firearm in a firearm free zone-misdemeanor. The United States Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force, and the Houston Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team assisted with this apprehension. 

In Harris County, Jabari Tyja Hines was arrested on April 12 for violating the terms of his parole. Hines was previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault and sentenced to 25 years in prison. 

In Harris County, Derrick Perry was arrested on April 14 for violating the terms of his parole. Perry was previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 45 years in prison. 

In Montgomery County, James Owens Cyprien was arrested on April 12 for failure to comply with mandated sex offender registration requirements. Cyprien was previously convicted of raping a juvenile and sentenced to five years in prison.  

In Smith County, Colby Jaycee Sanders was arrested on March 31 on outstanding warrants for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping. The Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force and the Tyler Police Department assisted with this arrest. 

In Smith County, Dasiman Randra Deamon was arrested on April 13 on an outstanding warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child. The Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force and the Tyler Police Department assisted with this apprehension. 

In Tarrant County, Tei David Kue was arrested on April 6 for violating his parole by being discharged from a mandatory sex offender treatment class. Kue was previously convicted of promotion of child pornography and was sentenced to three years in prison. 

In Travis County, David Cordova-Hernandez was arrested on April 6 on an outstanding warrant for indecency with a child/sexual contact. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this apprehension. 

In Travis County, Christopher Jobe was arrested on April 8 on two outstanding warrants for bail secured bond-assault and assaulting family. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Travis County, Mateo Mariano-Asencio was arrested on April 13 on an outstanding warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force out of Austin assisted with this arrest. 

In Travis County, Shaelyn Danyelle Stocker was arrested on April 14 on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with this arrest. 

In Williamson County, Alex Channing Martinez was arrested on April 5 for violating the terms of his parole by absconding. Martinez was previously convicted of aggravated kidnapping and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.  

In Williamson County, Larry Ray Johnston was arrested on April 11 for failing a urinalysis, incurring monitor violations, and failing to report a change of address. Johnston was previously convicted of burglary of a home with intent to sexually abuse a victim and was sentenced to 75 years in prison.  

In Wood County, Brian Timothy Hunt was arrested on April 12 on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child. While entering the Wood County Jail, Hunt was in possession of a controlled substance and charged with a prohibited substance in a correctional facility. The Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force and the Tyler Police Department assisted with this apprehension.
