OAG Joins Forces with Local Law Enforcement Agencies to Combat Online Solicitation of Minors in Johnson County
In a crackdown on child predators, the Texas attorney general’s Child Exploitation Unit (CEU) conducted a joint operation with several law enforcement agencies last week, arresting five north Texas men for Online Solicitation of a Minor, a second-degree felony. The collaboration by authorities included the Texas Attorney General’s CEU, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson County STOP Task Force, Cleburne Police Department, Burleson Police Department and Keene Police Department.
AG Paxton: Suspension of BLM Red River Surveys is a Win for Texas
“This latest action by the Trump administration protects the property rights of Texans as defined by the U.S. Supreme Court and prevents the federal government from infringing upon Texas’ sovereign borders,” Attorney General Paxton said. “It was our contention all along that the BLM’s surveys were conducted improperly and unlawfully. We will vigilantly defend Texas’ border from federal overreach.”

AG Paxton Seeks Volunteers For Corpus Christi Child Support
The Texas Attorney General’s Office is seeking local volunteers for its Corpus Christi Child Support Division field office, which handles more than 48,000 child support cases in Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Nueces and San Patricio counties.
